Shelley has 27 years of experience in real estate finance and sales. She has also owned and operated her own mortgage company in southwest Colorado and continues to assist many of her clients with their financing service needs. Prior to her involvement in real estate, Shelley served as Senior Vice President for Principal Financial Group — a large insurance and finance company — where she established their acquisition division and worked nationally negotiating acquisitions and providing secondary marketing service for Wall Street firms. She moved to Pagosa Springs in 1995 from Los Angeles to enjoy a better quality of life for herself and her family. This led to her active role in the community, including service on local school boards, local plays, Humane Society for both large and small animals.   Shelley is extremely well versed in the development of proposed projects here in Pagosa Springs and the surrounding areas.  Due to her business and larger project background, she is well involved and attends many of the Town and County planning commission meetings. Her background in finance services and real estate gives Shelley the perfect blend of skills to best represent her clients' interests.
